Have you ever thought about getting plastic surgery to look like a celebrity? Well it’s not that uncommon for people to want to spice things up by taking on a new identity from time to time but many end up receiving awful plastic surgery. Before you make your final decision, thing about the potentially negative consequences of undergoing cosmetic surgery to receive this outcome.
Would you really want to deal with the fans that all think you are Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Tara Reid, Michael Jackson or some other celelbrity that people go banannas over? Well maybe we should rewind, if you looked like Michael Jackson people would probably run away screaming that you’ve come back from the grave however all the other celebrities are fair game.
It’s true that the recent trend in the plastic surgery world is to get cosmetic surgery to look like a celebrity. One grandmother for example wanted to look like a fictional celebrity, Jessica Rabbit, so she shelled out for the plastic surgery. As Make Me Heal reported “57 year old Annette Edwards, the proud owner of the world’s biggest rabbit, has spent over $15,000 to look like Jessica Rabbit from the cartoon crossover film Who Framed Roger Rabbit?”
ABC news found that not everyone wants to look entirely like a celebrity but just bits and pieces of them. In all they found 8 body parts of celebrities that people would get plastic surgery to achieve that same look. They found for instance that Kim Kardashian has women’s most wanted butt. Of course most women also would pay to have Angelina Jolie’s lips.
If you really want to look like a celebrity wouldn’t it be better to simply become one? Do something crazy that gets you recognition in the newspapers, go to auditions and try your best to woo the casting directors, move to los angeles and try to mingle with famous people. Keep in mind that simply looking like a celelbrity will not make you one.
The following is an example of a girl that wanted to look like a celelbrity, she received a nose job, face lift and breast augmentation to try to achieve a look similar to that of Paris Hilton :
Honestly, does this seem absurd. Can you truly say that this girl looks identical to Paris Hilton? Do you think that getting plastic surgery to look like a celebrity will make you any more beautiful in the public’s eyes? Talk about a desperate plee for attention.
Of coarse, if it is your goal to change your identity because you are unsatisfied with who you are now it is not our opinion that you should simply give up, rather it may be wise to try things that change your look in a matter that is healthy and sustainable. Maybe take some time out of your day to go to the gym? Try to use less makeup and drink more water, while adjusting your diet to add more fruits and vegetables, this will improve your appearance in a healthier way that everyone can respect. Never forget that plastic surgery goes wrong for celebrities and it can go wrong for you too!
